(Part 2) Yesterday I asked the question, “Who am I?” and spoke in terms of my personal faith and beliefs. Today I want to address this in terms of how this applies at the practical level of living my daily life. My passionate cry to know truth opened the door for the Holy Spirit to lead me to the training opportunities and people I have met, appreciate and love through the Global Information Network. I did not go looking for this opportunity, it showed up in my life. Some might say it was just a coincidence. I believe it was God’s response to my prayer through the leading of the Holy Spirit. This event has opened doors to information and understanding beyond what I could have even imagined a decade ago. Where do I even begin? Probably with an apology to all those who have influenced and impacted my life in so many positive ways who are not, because of time and space, mentioned in this article. Thanks, love, and blessings to each one of you.
I am who I am today, because of the training of people like, Fred Van Liew who said to me, you need to go to Joel Bauer’s Passion2Profit course and I will help you get in. Joel Bauer’s training benefited our 17 year old family business which was on the verge of bankruptcy at the time. It changed our thinking which turned our business around. Joel also taught me that if you have God in your life, then He is to be part of all your life including your business marketing strategy. Then there is my dear friend, Mary Miller from I-Ching Systems. Mary helped a very judgmental preacher understand the power of particle physics and its application into the world of mental health. She helped me understand in new ways that truth and science do not have to conflict with Biblical foundations. She challenged me to take areas where many Christians do not know what they do not know and so just outright reject it and instead with discernment be able to bridge truth for the benefit of people around the world. What a wonderful day when a man name Joe (name changed) who would never allow anyone to speak about spiritual things said yes to allowing a piece of his DNA to be placed on an I-Ching instrument because he was dying. Within a short time His attitude changed and my wife had the privilege of seeing him ask forgiveness and invite Christ into his heart and life. His final days were significantly impacted mentally, emotionally and spiritually with this technology. Then there was the Morter Family who introduced us to the Bio Energetic Synchronization Technique (B.E.S.T.). This is a clinically tested procedure, by the way. Our family went to a weekend Living Your BEST conference in 2012. My wife shuffled into the event with the help of a cane barely able to walk. At the end of the event after the training and BEST treatments she walked out with a full stride and has not used a cane since that day. Why would we not be excited about the benefits of these tools and want others to know about them? Energy is just that. A medical doctor tests for it when he/she taps your body looking for reflex action. The Apostle Paul references the energy of Christ within him in Colossians 1:29, “To this end I labour, struggling with all his energy, which so powerfully works in me” (NIV). Looking at the original language it confirms the NIV use of the word, “energy” here.
I have also been introduced in new ways to the importance and value of defining your dreams and getting a burning desire for their achievement. In other words setting goals and putting together the steps to make it happen. I currently have the privilege of working with Trish Devitt and Don Boyer who have together provided an exciting opportunity for people to be able to focus on what they want to see happen in their life through their intentions. If you do not understand the power and impact of your beliefs and intentions on your daily actions, then take the time to learn about it and you will see the benefit of having focussed intentions.
It was Troy McClain who introduced to me to his definition of “ego.” He describes it as “exiting God out.” The Energetic Intention Program designed by Trish has nothing to do with exiting God out, it has everything to do with taking tools which are available and using them in ways that benefit and help people to be the best they can be. For me this means being a good steward of our life.
To those who would say, all we need is God and the Bible to do this. I respond, do you go to a doctor if you are sick? Do you take a prescription if the doctor gives you one. Do you allow for the doctor to check your reflexes by tapping your knee? (that is a check on the flow of electrical energy in your body). Do you allow the doctor to listen to your heart and lungs with a stethoscope? (that is a tool). AND the list could go on. I trust you get my point!
Who am I? I am a person who is prepared to investigate things and to look for the Holy Spirit’s guidance in discerning truth. I am a person who is working on being more discerning and open in discovering that which benefits humanity and glorifies God. Just because there are atheists, New Agers, or people of other religions endorsing some thought or concept does not mean Christians should avoid it, if it is truth. When it is truth, it is time for Christians to engage and reclaim it for the Kingdom of God. Understand have a valuable opportunity in that area of common agreement to bridge the gap to demonstrate the source of truth. That is who I am, who I want to be, and what I seek to do.
