You Have a Choice! Your Outcomes Depend Upon Your Decisions!

In Exodus 3:14 God revealed His name to Moses. He told Moses to say to the Israelites, “‘I AM has sent me to you.’” Genesis 1:27 tells us we are created in the image of God. We have more power and authority than we realize within us and there are those in this world who do not want people to know this truth.

When you understand everything is energy vibrating at different frequencies, it changes how we perceive ourselves, God and His Word. This does not negate the Scriptures, or the universal truths contained in them. Rather it takes truth to a higher level of understanding. It also elevates humanity in terms of God’s creation.

When Adam and Eve chose to disobey God, in an attempt to be like God, their ego was seeking to declare they were God and they could do whatever they wanted to do. What do you think and how do you react to someone who declares they are God? Therefore they believe they have creative power like God, because they understand the power and authority inherent in energy.

From my perspective, I get excited, because I see the prevenient grace of God at work in their lives. This is the grace of God that is at work prior to someone saying YES to the relationship with Him.

I then can relate the illustration of dipping a pail into the ocean and filling it. The water in the pail has exactly the same vibrational frequency as the water in the ocean. From my perspective, the water in the pail is not the ocean. Being created in the image of God, does not make us God, but we do have His ability to create things in our life.

We have the ability to declare, “I am . . .” This power comes as a result of our relationship with God. I have previously mentioned there are more than 30 specific ” I am” declarations we make about who we are as a result of that relationship as found in God’s Word.

Jesus, the Word, who was with God and was God (John 1:1) and who lived among us (John 1:14)

reminds us as recorded in John 15:5, “apart from Him we can do nothing.” Our true power is found in relationship with the Heavenly Father, through the Son as we allow the Holy Spirit to guide and direct our lives. Proverbs 3:5-6 calls us to, “Trust in Yahweh with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; {6} in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will guide you on the right paths.”

You have a choice! Your outcomes depend upon your decisions!

What You Imagine Is Lost Will Reveal Something Even Better!

A few weeks ago I scoured our book shelves for a book I knew I had, but could not find. I even had other members of our family look and no one saw it. Yesterday I was searching for another book and what did I find, the book that would not reveal itself previously. Finding that book is still of value. It would appear timing is what is most important in this situation.

This reminded me of the parables of Jesus found in Luke 15 of the lost sheep, the lost coin and the lost son. There was joy and celebration in these stories when what was lost had been found. How do we respond when something we desire is not immediately found? Do we give up, or we simply move forward with life? Our actions will speak louder than our words and in fact it might be wise in those moments to shut up. What is the point in declaring, “I will never find it,” or “it’s gone forever,” other than to prove yourself correct by putting out the vibration, I will never find it, or gone forever.

I once was separated from my phone in a hotel in Los Angeles. It was a high end Blackberry smart phone which I never did recover. There was no point in being negative about the situation. I am currently using a really nice, very inexpensive phone and pay a small monthly fee for the blackberry hub, which I really like. I have been waiting for the information release later today on the new K1 Impulse phone, with voice over block chain protocols from Karatbars International. If I like the specs I see, I will likely move to the new technology. If you would like information on this new phone, message me and I would love to share it with you.

How often do we allow something which happens in our life to rob us of our joy, because we lose sight of something and think it is lost, or gone forever. Perhaps what we think is gone, is only a process towards opening a path for something better to enter our life. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 reminds us, “Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” The Apostle Paul did not say give thanks for, but give thanks in. There is a difference and it would be good to consider this in our journey of life.

Take the time to give thanks often, to SEE the difference it can make. It will shift your mindset, elevate your energetic awareness and enhance the quality of your life. What You Imagine Is Lost Will Reveal Something Even Better!

What Promises of God Do You Discover in a Rainbow?

When ever I see a rainbow I use it to think of God’s promises as outlined in Scripture. A promise was given with the first rainbow, but my response is more in alignment with specific promises God has made that relate to my life. In this moment I am thinking about Psalms 23. This is a passage we are working through Sunday mornings to uncover truths which are often missed in this significantly urban world today. As I began to ponder the opening verse, “Yahweh is my shepherd, there is nothing I lack,”or “there is nothing I fail to have,” I began to ask, “what does this mean in terms of our faith in God’s provision for our lives as the Shepherd?”

This is a topic I will be addressing at Grace Church of the Nazarene in Shelburne, Ontario on Sunday March 31, 2019. The service will be lived streamed at: www.SayYEStotheRelationship.com at 10:30 a.m. EDT and the message will be live streamed on Face Book Live at approximately 11:00 to 11:05 a.m. EDT.

We will be considering the elements of what faith and trust look like in relationship as revealed in God’s Word. These are two things which are high on many people’s list for a healthy, lasting relationship. I am not going to provide any specific spoilers at this time, because benefits often are found in the expression of commitment to our learning and growth in life. Come and join us, or at least watch the replay. You could also wait for the book to be published some day in the future.

What promises of God come to mind for you, when you discover a rainbow?

Warning! Life Happens, Be Prepared!

What would you do and why? Please share your response to this scenario. You know the bridge, a half a mile down the road from your house has been washed out. The sky is clear at this time. Do you go out to the road and warn drivers about the danger ahead? Do you assume someone else will warn them? Your ability to make a phone call to some authority to deal with the situation is not an option for you. What action, if any will you take?

I know this is a hypothetical situation, but when you consider how many times we must make a choice to be involved, or stay uninvolved in various circumstances, it is not an isolated, or rare occurrence.

How casual are we in our response when something is about to happen? By that, I mean are we passionate about the response we make so that others know the situation is important and worthy of their attention? Discerning the right way to communicate to gain the attention of the person being warned is key to a positive outcome.

As an individual whose spiritual gift is prophet, I have spent significant effort seeking to temper my approach to what it is that I say and do. Whether an individual is called as a prophet to foretell, or forthtell, the challenge is still the same. Finding a balance that is best for each situation so that the respondent will engage and make the right decision for their life is important.

The Old Testament is filled with accounts where the prophet spoke and very few listened and the consequences were dramatic for many people. There is the always present option we face, “who do you listen to?”

Sorting out the false and fake from the truth is not always easy. Developing a set of convictions to guide our life based upon universal principles and truths may be helpful, but only if we will follow them. The Holy Spirit will guide us if we are open and willing to listen. Something to consider as we face the challenges of daily living in this world. Warning! Life Happens, Be Prepared!

Uncross Your Wires for a Clearer Appreciation of Your Future!

Have you ever experienced one of those days when it seemed like your mental wiring was confused and mixed up? Yesterday was one of those days for me. I woke up thinking about the cover and title for my book on The Lord’s Prayer. The first draft of the content is basically finished now. The challenge was my subconscious mind was imputing graphical ideas for another book, not yet written and my conscious mind was not connecting there is something not right about what was going on.

In fact, it was not until into the afternoon that my daughter noticed my efforts and brought my attention to the fact there is something not right happening here. Graphics and text were not in alignment. I could attempt to use the excuse, I had a lot on my mind, but what was going on, applied to what I was supposedly working on. So much for a morning of creativity.

What we tell ourselves about ourselves in situations like this is important. Treat yourself as well as you would treat others. Laugh with situations, not at people and this includes yourself. Look for the benefits that arise from circumstances. There are always things to learn, even if it means learning what not to do next time.

As I started over, my daughter suggested, why not turn your books into a series and use a common thread to your titles. What did I do with my morning’s work? I creatively wove some of the thoughts into the Introduction, so the time was not really lost. I liked the changes which occurred in the rewrite. Maybe what was perceived as crossed wires was really just part of a journey along a different path to a specific end result. Hmm! Something to consider.

If I had beaten myself up in the first place, would I have even be ready for what was to come out of what had been? Again, something to consider. God can work all things for good, if we allow Him time to do just that in our life. Uncross your wires for a clearer appreciation of your future!

I really love the picture attached to this article of my wire crossed, misplaced sheep. It has great personality and speaks volumes of many things. It may be awhile before it makes an appearance on a book cover, so rather than being buried in a digital file, a debut of sorts takes place here. Blessings to you and your family.
