Select Your Line Carefully, Travel It Faithfully!

Have you ever walked the line? How long has it been since your last conscious attempt to do so? Maybe your line had a different look. Maybe it was a balance beam, or a fence, or a ledge of some sort. Perhaps it was a plank, or the ridge of a roof. Whatever the situation, or occasion you were dealing with, good balance was an important ingredient to the task. Faithful attention to what you were doing was needed.

While there may be occasions where your life needs to be out of balance for a specific focussed result to be achieved, there will be a high price to pay if you stay locked into that situation too long.

If you were to exercise too much and do not take time to rest and restore your body, you increase the chances of injuring yourself. If you read constantly, or do a disproportionate amount of mental work, your body may not have the proper circulation and fitness level it needs for good health. If you spend an enormous amount of time meditating, or relaxing, your brain waves slow down and your mental agility can be negatively impacted. Any time your focus causes you to lose balance in any aspect of your life, there will be consequences that surface that you were not expecting or desiring.

Be vigilant and aware of anything that is moving you in the direction of an addiction. Be disciplined enough in your life to draw back and away from the influences that are pushing you to extremes. Recognize early the self imposed denial that there is a growing imbalance that needs addressing. Remember, all that glitters is not gold. Slavery to substances is only one form of addiction. If your weak spot is technology be aware, deal with it before you reap the eventual consequences.

It may be to your advantage to plan strategies which will help you walk a line that brings a balanced perspective to you life. Wise daily choices as to what you do and where you go could help you in your process of staying balanced. Remembering you are spirit, soul and body and as such need to take care of every area of your being is important. Jesus provides a model for us to follow. John 14:6 records His words as He declares, “I am the way and the truth and the life.” Having spent more than 50 years walking the line of His path, I am glad I made that choice.

Lost? Find Your Why In Life!

I had the opportunity to share a short devotional with the Ministerial Association of our community yesterday. I used, as a starting point, the article Tom Ward wrote on his www.poweroflivingbydesign.com website. With his permission, I shared that article on January 21, 2019 on my blog website. If you have not read it I would encourage you to do so and also sign up to receive an email copy of Tom’s articles every day.

The point of what I shared with my colleagues centred around the topic, “Your Why In Life Is Important.” Too often our why is lost in the routine of life. Thus, we have the response, “We have always do it that way.” We then perceived change as something which is difficult to accept. We have turned our life into a series of rituals and recitals. This is especially true as it relates to the spiritual aspects of our life. These words sound to much more reasonable and acceptable than words like, “imprisoned, chained, bound” or “rutted.”

For me, the task of working through the true meaning of what Jesus really was saying when He responded to the disciple’s request, “Teach us to pray” (Luke 11:1) falls into perfect alignment with my focus word for 2019, which is “manifestation.” In learning what Jesus was actually saying about prayer and how we proceed, we must move beyond the point of reciting some words. It is about making a relationship connection in our current moment with God, our Heavenly Father.

When we do that, we are living our “why” as we manifest the purpose of our prayer, our relationship and our very life. We are emotionally engaging in a process that becomes powerfully relevant to the time in which we live. Gone is the concept of archaic to our spiritual experience. It is in such a context that we begin to look for a way to communicate Biblical thought, and words in ways which compel us to find ways to enlighten and encourage people to pursue their own vital and meaningful relationship with God, the Source of all life.

Coming from a denominational background whose history is rooted in the message of “holiness” what languaging can we use to bridge God’s Word to people who while they may recognize the word have no idea of what it really means, even as they say, “Hallowed be thy name” in The Lord’s Prayer? What about those who have no idea what the word “holy” means?

Part of my “why” and challenge is to work through the process of taking these Biblical concepts, principles and words which have often been immortalized and placed into permanent “Christian” linguistic patterns and bring them to life in ways that have power and meaning to people today. This includes helping my peers to see the value and benefits of doing the same within their jurisdictions of influence. May the Holy Spirit help us to be more effective in what it is God has called us all to do.

Don’t Be Self Imprisoned, Be Set Free!

When you look at the picture associated with this article, what is the first thought that comes to your mind? Your personal background and history, your environment and socioeconomic positioning and religious beliefs may play a role in your first impressions and response to the above question.

The programming of your subconscious mind will also colour your response. Could this be a picture of your inner spirit and being, apart from any political or racial implications? Are there things which are holding you back from being the best version of you possible, and in a sense imprisoning you behind a wall of barbed wire?

Where are you in reference to your dreams and goals? Are they active in your life? Are you making progress towards their achievement? Is your hope growing, or dying?

Have you become apathetic to your situation, simply drifting through life from one day to the next, with no real reason? Have your expectations of what your life could be been driven down so often that you can no longer see the opportunity to realize and fulfill your purpose and destiny?

I want you to know there is hope. You can cut through the barbed wire and escape the confining walls that are holding you back. When you say YES to the relationship with Jesus you have the opportunity for a transformed life. You become a new creation through Him. The old can pass away and the new can come your way (2 Corinthians 5:17). You can begin to elevate your energetic vibrational consciousness which allows you to begin to deploy your full potential. Change is possible when you are willing to learn and willing to adjust your intentions, thoughts, beliefs, words, attitudes and actions. John 8:36 reminds us, “So if the Son (Jesus) sets you free, you will be free indeed.” Don’t Be Self Imprisoned, Be Set Free!

What’s Your Problem? Solve It!

Have you ever been asked, or maybe you have been the one to ask, “What’s YOUR problem?” There is often a special tone and frequency to the voice which makes such a demand. Can you feel the arrows of emotional charge in such a moment?

I would suggest to you something that on the surface seems obvious, but it is not. You can’t solve a problem until you know what it is. The obvious is not always the solution to the problem. This is the reason many people fail to solve their problems. They have no idea how to identify the first step in the process towards finding a solution.

There are lots of times we think, or feel we know what a particular problem is, but then our effort to fix it, it doesn’t work and the problem remains. We may get discouraged and even feel like giving up. Though this is an option, it is not the best one.

The Morter Health System training, Bio Energetic Synchronization Technique (B.E.S.T.) Suggests that there may be emotional blockages that are different than you assume them to be, keeping you locked into certain patterns of living. I Ching Systems and Artworks technology also identifies and suggests options in dealing with these same issues that affect your life.

A recent conversation in out household centred around an event that took place during my grade eight graduation. That was a long time ago. I will not go into any details, but the effect of the event impacts my perception of myself and my competency level even today at an emotional level. I have done much over the years to address this, but the simple statement, “Get over it!” just doesn’t quite cut it. Perhaps my competency level in certain areas is in fact my attempt to prove the other party wrong in their assessment of me.

There may be someone out there who is identifying with this situation in their life. Don’t let “YOUR” problem stop you from being the best version of you possible. Find the answer to the next step in your journey to freedom from such emotional blockages.

Remember, you are uniquely loved and created by God (Psalms 139:14). Don’t let the opinion of others hold you back from living your purpose and fulfilling your destiny. There is a solution and you will find it.

Engage in the Process to Feel Good. Reap the Benefits Now!

For those who have investigated the secrets and basics of success training there is an important principle that must be operative in your life. It is one of those concepts which takes very little time to learn, but a life time to work on and master. As you progress in the process of implementing this principle your life will begin to change. Your mindset will shift in how you perceive not only yourself, but the world around you. Your energetic awareness will increase and there will be an enhancement in the quality of your life.

What will be some of the outcomes when you implement this principle? It will look different for every individual, but will include, transformational freedom, the ability to fully deploy your inherent potential and be able to live your purpose and fulfil your destiny. In the process of your development of this principle you have the potential to learn what has been holding you back and keeping you locked up and bound by your own subconscious choices and habits. It sounds like this concept may be in alignment with The SEE Method of Living!

There are options and choices you can make in how you proceed on this path and some are more powerful and beneficial than others. No matter what path you select I do highly recommend including a commitment to the relationship with God through his Son, Jesus as part of your package of choices. In my opinion, including the Source, the author of you, in your plans, is a wise decision. Psalm 139:13-16 reminds us, “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. {14} I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. {15} My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, {16} your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.”

I have placed at the top of my dream board a graphical representation of this principle to remind me daily to consider this principle. I have chosen to add into my life a number of different energetic and spiritual practices which complement this aspect of my life.

What is the principle? Feel Good Now! Choose to reap the benefits in your life.
