Perhaps I hit a sensitive spot for some people this week. The reality is, universal truths do not care what you think about them. They are just true! It does not affect truth whether to believe or follow them.
God however, does care! He loves you and desires the best for you. Romans 5:8 is a constant reminder of this. “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” The truths are there for your benefit when you say YES to the relationship with God through His Son, Jesus and live your life fully committed to Him.
Our response to universal truths have a way of sorting and sifting their way in our lives. Outcomes reveal the choices we make and the priorities we set on a daily basis. This is why when we stand before the judgment seat of God we will understand just how responsible and accountable we are for our lives.
The Apostle Paul warns us about a trend that is happening right now in our world. People are not interested in hearing and living truth. They are eager to follow exactly what they are being conditioned to believe from nursery school through adulthood. 2 Timothy 4:3-4 tells us, “For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. {4} They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.” The Greek word translated, “myths” in English here, means a fictional tale. How much of what is being reported in the media today is really fictional propaganda and has no basis in actual truth. In fact many social media sites are now choosing to define truth by their own standards rather than universal principles of truth.
Be aware of what is happening. The quality of your life depends upon living by universal truth.
