Don’t Give Up! It Really Is Your Choice!

Having written more than 1,000 daily blog articles, I have to admit there have been a few occasions when I have struggled to find an idea to write about. Not many, but there have been a few. Today’s article was becoming one of those occasions. At some point yesterday I began to think about how Charles Schultz must have felt having produced so many Peanuts comic strips.

SchultzMuseum.org records that Charles produced 15,391 daily strips and 2,506 Sunday strips. That works out to approximately 49 years worth of continuous daily creativity. When I found out this information I was amazed at his commitment and dedication to the task. His brilliance of not only providing humour, but important and insightful life principles is truly inspiring.

I wonder if he had an occasional day when he wondered and struggled with the feelings of, “what am I going to say today?” Successful people are often willing to carry on long after unsuccessful people have quit. Perseverance and commitment to a passion is an important ingredient in life. Charles Schultz did not do what he did for 49 years because it was a job. What he did was intimately connected to what he believed was his purposeful passion in life. He made a difference in ways know one will ever truly know, but he did it anyway.

Isn’t this what each one of us must discover and be involved in achieving with our lives? It is not always going to be easy. It may not always be glamourous, but it will bring satisfaction and fulfilment into our lives. That is important, isn’t it?

I want to encourage you to not to give up on your dreams and goals, but to look for creative ways to continue to move forward. God did not gift and grace you with all you need so you can simply give up. He has promised to be with you, if you will allow Him to be part of your life. Don’t Give Up! It really is your choice!

Access Principles and Practices Producing Lasting Transformational Change in Your Life!

I was standing in the bathroom brushing my hair yesterday when a thought manifested in my mind. I quickly ran for a blue ink pen and paper so I would not forget it. It was the perfect phrase for the beginning of a video clip I was wanting to create. The reality is, it has much more impact into a number of areas I am involved with. There are many ways to describe what happened in that moment. I could respond, “My subconscious downloaded the information from the field,” “it came as a moment of inspiration,” or I could also say, “the Holy Spirit gifted the phrase to me in just the right timing.” Because of my relationship with God, I chose the later, but at the same time all three options may have been at work.

As a result if someone should chose to express a similar experience in any of the above ways, or even another, I can identify with them and process through my filters without judgment, or criticism. I can rejoice with them in their moment of discovery, because it really is something to be excited about.

For me, having had the opportunity to be trained by Joel Bauer, the Mentor’s Mentor, allowed me to perceive the significance in the languaging pattern found in my momentary revelation. My mind began to formulate important new ways to take that one simple concept and use it over and over again in different scenarios. As a result, you will likely see and hear it used many times in many ways if you are following the Life Potential Training expressions I am putting out.

Whether, you read my daily blog articles, or one of the books that has, or will be coming, listen to a sermon live on site, or a live stream on the internet or a replay, whether it be an event training or something else, my desire and focus will be to encourage and support you in the process of achieving the benefits of saying YES to the relationship with Jesus and living that relationship in full commitment and alignment with pure, selfless love.

AND so, I ask you now, “Have you ever dreamed of having access to principles and practices that will produce lasting, transformational change in your life and that of your family? I want you to SEE what Shifting your mindset and Elevating your energetic awareness can do in producing an Enhanced life which allows you to live your purpose and fulfil your destiny, leaving a lasting legacy. Be willing to learn and willing to change in order to achieve these amazing results.

Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, “Trust in Yahweh with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; {6} in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.”

What Image Do Others See When They Look at You?

I spoke with someone recently who is involved in the field of helping people who have medical challenges. This individual knows of my faith in God and my commitment to Biblical principles. This person shared with me some stories in dealing with those who claim to be “Christian.” It was my opportunity to attempt to bring some clarification and insight from my perspective to help with her confusion between what she thought Christianity should be and what she witnessed and experienced in her life.

I will not go into any of the sordid details, in terms of her experiences, but it did give me cause for a heavy sigh. Her observations are not unique, as I have observed many of the same things myself. The bottom line which links the various elements of the challenge, I think can be found in the fact that many who claim the title of “Christian” have never fully understood the concept of relationship with God and the expressions that relationship ought to include.

Maybe this is a partial reason why so many people have interpersonal relationship problems with other people, including those in their own family. Beyond the lack of proper training and guidance towards actual maturity, there is the “me first,”intentional focus that does not even consider someone else.

For instance, yesterday it was an early commute to the specialist in Toronto. It took twice as long to make the journey with traffic, compared to less traffic. A significant number of people have no understanding that driving in traffic is a relationship journey. Some people have one focus only and that is to get to where they are going as quickly as possible and take no notice of what is going on around them, or the practice of common sense manners as they proceed. Fortunately there are still some people who understand the benefit of moving traffic more effectively when everyone moves in turn and consideration of others.

I suspect the “Church” would provide a much better example of what it means to be a follower of Jesus, if those who claim that relationship acted like God’s Word teaches. I have deliberately over generalized in this article, because I do not want to be perceived of being judgmental in any certain area. Each person will given an account of their, words, attitudes and actions before God and this will include how we have done in representing Him effectively to others in this world.

Be Mindful What You Create on Your Daily Blank Slate!

You open your eyes and depending on the time of year and season, it might be dark, or light in the room. You have already made a statement and mark on the blank slate of a new day, by how you performed that first action with your eyes. Did they pop open with enthusiasm, or did they struggle to maintain that open position in the face of what they are anticipating will consume the coming waking hours that have not yet been?

In those first brief seconds, are you implementing your imagination of dreams and goals of great possibilities, or digging up leftover garbage from yesterday, to drag with you into your future? What are the automatic pictures you are mindfully creating on the blank slate of the day?

Have you given thought to the power of the eraser brush, if you don’t like what is being displayed? It does not have to be there, if you don’t want it to be. You can change the pictures, if you are willing to do so. That is great news for all of us. But the truth is, what we have come to know as the familiar, even when it is not beneficial to us, is easier to accept than the unknown, hidden in change. Therefore, we continue to settle for the same old pictures that leave us less than satisfied.

God’s Word wants us to understand He likes creating new things. 2 Corinthians 5:17 reveals, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” Revelation 21:5 declares, “He who was seated on the throne said, ‘I am making everything new!’ Then he said, ‘Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.’”

If you want to make each new day, a terrific day, as Ed Foreman teaches in his Successful Life course, then make a decision to start doing something to make it happen. Change your thinking, change your attitudes, change your beliefs, change the words you are saying about yourself and others, change your intentions in what you want in your life and change your actions so you can change your reality.

Be mindful what you create on your daily blank slate! Say Yes to the relationship with God through His Son, Jesus and allow Him to help you make the necessary changes you need and want to make in your life.

Realize Your Blessings! Invest in a Stroll Down Memory Lane

Every spring, as soon as the winter weather begins to retreat you will see families in our community begin to get out and begin to invest time walking together. They may still need to bundle up with heavy coats, but there is a sense that things are changing and the warmth in the sun is a promise of better things coming their way.

During the years we were home educating our children we came to realize that the short daylight of winter and the challenges of weather often brought a reduction in enthusiasm and commitment to the goals and processes which we were engaged in. As a consequence, at some point in February we often simply took a break from the regular routine and set aside some time for personal interests and passions to be pursued. This allowed us to take our focus off the growing negativism around us and be able to realize the blessings we not only had experienced in the past, but were part of our present moments.

Taking the time to look for and acknowledge your blessings and express your thankfulness and appreciation for what God has done in your life does have benefits. James 1:17 reminds us, “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.” Beyond taking a stroll in the outdoors, why not also take a stroll down memory lane and allow such a time to Shift your mindset, Elevate your Energetic awareness and enhance the quality of your life. The ability to SEE and perceive your life from a longer and bigger perspective will often reignite your passion and imagination to allow you to more forward towards your dreams and goals more effectively.

Something to consider as we work our way through the last half of this winter month, at least for those in the northern hemisphere. I challenge you to realize your blessings! Invest in a stroll down memory lane.
