I was relistening to an audio training recently by Ed Foreman in which he spoke about the impact of fear and worry on our lives. I remembered the concept that FEAR was False Evidence Appearing Real, but I had forgotten about the fact it is also, misuse of our imagination. This is something worth remembering. It would be a good idea to think about what we are thinking about, so we are not living our life in negative default mode.

If you are choosing to live in a way that allows your past to dictate your present and therefore forge your future reality, you might want to consider changing what you are thinking and doing. If your past was mired in worry and fear it will continue to be so unless you Shift your mindset. You will continue to attract that which will bring more worry and fear unless you actively engage in a process that will Elevate your energetic conscious awareness. In the wake of taking the necessary steps you will Enhance the quality of your life. This SEE method will allow you to discover and live out your purpose and destiny, leaving a positive and lasting legacy.

Job worried about the actions of his children and lived in fear regarding the impact of their lifestyle. Job 3:25 relates his testimony in which he says, “For the very thing I dreaded has happened to me, and what I feared has come upon me.” Reaping what we sow is an universal principle that is active in our world. What we vibrationally transmit will come back to us.

Matthew records the words of Jesus in his Gospel (7:1-2) where He says, “Do not judge so that you will not be judged. {2} For by the standard you judge you will be judged, and the measure you use will be the measure you receive.” Jesus also said, “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink, or about your body, what you will wear. Isn’t there more to life than food and more to the body than clothing? {26} Look at the birds in the sky: They do not sow, or reap, or gather into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you more valuable than they are? {27} And which of you by worrying can add even one hour to his life? {28} Why do you worry about clothing? Think about how the flowers of the field grow; they do not work or spin. {29} Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his glory was clothed like one of these! {30} And if this is how God clothes the wild grass, which is here today and tomorrow is tossed into the fire to heat the oven, won’t he clothe you even more, you people of little faith? {31} So then, don’t worry saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear?’ {32} For the unconverted pursue these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. {33} But above all pursue his kingdom and righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. {34} So then, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Today has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:25-34).

Ed Foreman suggests if we want to change something in our life we need to replace it with what it is we want. What do you want? You need to know what it is! The Apostle Paul suggests in Philippians 4:8, “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of respect, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if something is excellent or praiseworthy, think about these things.” Fill your mind with what is good to replace what is not as good.

When you are willing to say YES to the relationship with Jesus, commit fully to the relationship. Have eyes focussed on Him, emulate love for Him and others, as He has shown it to you. SEE the difference it can make in your life.

The words you communicate in any form, whether written or spoken, through body language or picture presentation, has either a positive or a negative influence on others and on yourself. Your words are energetically impregnated vibrational frequencies which have consequences.

We read in Jeremiah 15:16-19 these words, “‘As your words came to me I drank them in, and they filled my heart with joy and happiness because I belong to you, Yahweh, the God who rules over all. {17} I did not spend my time in the company of other people, laughing and having a good time. I stayed to myself because I felt obligated to you and because I was filled with anger at what they had done. {18} Why must I continually suffer such painful anguish? Why must I endure the sting of their insults like an incurable wound? Will you let me down when I need you like a brook one goes to for water, but that cannot be relied on?’ {19} Because of this, Yahweh said, ‘You must repent of such words and thoughts! If you do, I will restore you to the privilege of serving me. If you say what is worthwhile instead of what is worthless, I will again allow you to be my spokesman.’”

Jeremiah experienced joy and happiness from God’s word and at the same time realized he had a responsibility as God’s spokesman to pass it forward to others. There needs to be alignment and congruity between our words and our actions. Otherwise, our words will produce negative consequences. On the day I am writing this article I heard about a very influential person who is very “spiritual” in nature, but will have nothing to do with the church today, because of the inconsistency demonstrated between words spoken and life lived by those in the church many years ago. This is why I am always seeking to connect you to God’s Word. It is not to our advantage to focus the inconsistencies of others. Who do you listen to? Go to the Source for first level instruction.

It has been said that a picture is worth a thousand words. Have you given much thought to the volume of words being expressed by the daily picture you present, through how you present yourself to the world? The choices you make each day in terms of the clothes you wear in public say an incredible amount about who you are, what you believe, and what your potential intentions might be. Yes it is possible to make a choice to deceive people and create a false impression through what you chose to put on your body, but in general, the programming and beliefs running in the subconscious mind find expression in our clothing.

There is has been a debate over the years regarding the question, does the man make the suit or the suit make the man? To some degree the answer given may come from a person’s individual perspective, but there are significant concepts to consider if you are looking for truth.

The level of your energetic awareness will manifest unconsciously if you live your life by default. Your choices will reveal internal core values and attitudes in every area of life and this includes the picture you present regarding your self.

Remember, everything vibrates at a specific energetic frequency and more often than not your personal frequency impacts your likes and dislikes in terms of your choices. If you want to elevate your energetic awareness and therefore the quality of your life, it is necessary to live by design and make choices which will take you to where you want to be in life.

Think about what the two pictures below say and the perceptions expressed about the individuals. This experiment is not about judging the person, but becoming more energetically aware of the message we communicate by how we present ourselves to the world.

It might be worth considering the Biblical standard suggested for how people ought to clothe themselves. The Apostle Paul writes in 1 Timothy 2:9 it would be advisable to wear “suitable apparel, with modesty and self-control.” The word “modest” is defined in Collin’s English Dictionary as: “1. having or expressing a humble opinion of oneself or one’s accomplishments or abilities; 2. reserved or shy; 3. not ostentatious or pretentious; 4. not extreme or excessive, moderate; 5. decorous or decent.”

Just as it is appropriate to think before you speak or write, it would be good to consider the message you are declaring through how you present yourself to the world.

In the putting forth of words, verbally and/or written, it would be worth considering the emotional foundation and basis with which you charge them. Consider someone who decides to string together a list of expletive words as a result of a fit or anger or frustration. What vibrational frequency is being transmitted in such a moment of time? Remember, we will reap what we sow in every area of life and this includes the emotions which we express.

The emotional charge you give your words dictates the power and energetic impact of your transmission and what will come back to you. According to Dr. David Hawkins in his book, Power vs. Force the frequency of love is about two and a half times higher than that of anger. Attaching love to your words will produce an entirely different response than anger.

Choosing to take control of your emotions so you can determine the outcomes you desire in your life is a process worth considering, isn’t it? There is no truth to the old childhood saying, “Stick and stone may break my bones, but words will never hurt me.” Words do matter, and once they are broadcast, can never be taken back. Thinking about the consequences or benefits before you send them forth is important.

The Apostle Peter writes in 2 Peter 1:5-8, ” For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith excellence, to excellence, knowledge; {6} to knowledge, self-control; to self-control, perseverance; to perseverance, godliness; {7} to godliness, brotherly affection; to brotherly affection, unselfish love. {8} For if these things are really yours and are continually increasing, they will keep you from becoming ineffective and unproductive in your pursuit of knowing our Lord Jesus Christ more intimately.” This is true not only in the spiritual realm, but also in the physical, material realm.

You have the power to significantly influence the outcomes with others through the words you use and the emotions you charge them with. Using the sequence of response questions, “What, When, Where, Who, How, and Why” will diffuse negative emotional responses in most people and allow for a satisfactory resolution for everyone involved.

Use your words wisely and you will benefit both short term and long term. Proverbs 17:14 declares, “Starting a quarrel is like letting out water; stop it before strife breaks out!”

Yesterday I wrote about the energetic power of words. After I had written the article I picked up Dean del Sesto’s book, Shift Your Thinking: 200 Ways To Improve Your Life and the first words I came across were these: “Words come out of our mouths at a pretty rapid pace at times, and the faster they come out, the less productive or more damaging they can be. Most of us are in the habit of letting our mouths run at the pace of our emotions instead of our thoughts. Yet a little thought goes a long way in taming the delivery of our words.”

As I reflected on what he wrote, I was reminded of the fact our emotions are the energetic fuel behind both our thoughts and our words. So, it would be wise to make sure our emotions are propelling our thoughts and words in the direction that not only blesses ourselves, but others as well, right? Our words, actions and character ought to be in alignment if we are looking for the best possible outcomes in life. James writes in James 3:10, “From the same mouth come blessing and cursing. These things should not be so, my brothers and sisters.”

Luke records the words of Jesus in Luke 6:43-45 who declared, “For no good tree bears bad fruit, nor again does a bad tree bear good fruit, {44} for each tree is known by its own fruit. For figs are not gathered from thorns, nor are grapes picked from brambles. {45} The good person out of the good treasury of his heart produces good, and the evil person out of his evil treasury produces evil, for his mouth speaks from what fills his heart.”

This brings us back to the importance of saying YES to the relationship with Jesus and living committed to that relationship on a daily basis. Living out of a heart filled with the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23) raises your energetic consciousness and empowers your life in ways you do not yet understand. Dean Del Sesto’s advice, “Keep an eye, and a heart, on what you say today.” He finishes his thoughts with two important questions.
1. Is my mouth controlled by my emotions or by my character?
2. Will I challenge myself to use more wisdom with my words?

Something to think about if we desire to invest ourselves in the process of influencing and empowering others to live up to their full potential and fulfilling our purpose and destiny while leaving a positive, lasting legacy.
