The second step in the art of successfully manifesting what you want to see happen in your life is activating the process of belief. We must engage this second step in order to gain understanding in the principle revealed in Matthew 7:7 when Jesus said, “Keep asking, and it will be given to you. Keep searching, and you will find. Keep knocking, and the door will be opened to you.”

Jesus said in Matthew 9:29, “According to your faith will it be done to you.” Hebrews 11:6 declares, “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” Do not contradict your vibrational “ask” by your thoughts, beliefs, words, intentions, and actions.

To demonstrate this, there was a small town in an area where there had been no rain for a considerable time. Drought conditions were beginning to impact the crops. A town prayer meeting was called with a focus on prayer for rain. Most of the town came out to pray, but only one little girl believed enough in the power of prayer to bring an umbrella with her to the prayer meeting. The actions of the majority of the people were congruent with their vibrational belief in the “ask,” but not with what they were hoping for. Your actions must be consistent with what you are desiring and asking for.

I received this story from a friend in the last week. I do not know whether it is true, or mostly true, or simply just a story, but this is what was shared. In a small town a bar opened up across the street from a church. The members of the church were upset with the influence and impact they felt the bar was having on the people in the area. So they began to pray the bar would close down. It wasn’t too long before a strong electrical storm moved through the area and the bar was hit by lightning and burned to the ground. The people in the church saw this as an answer to prayer, at least until the bar owner sued the church for the loss of his establishment.

When the case came to court the bar owner passionately stated his case claiming the prayers of the church members were responsible for the destruction of his bar. The church members claimed no responsibility for what happened. The judge found it interesting that the bar owner believed God answered prayer, while the church members denied this to be the case.

It would be a worthwhile exercise to determine whether your actions are in alignment with your desires or in opposition to it. Your outcomes are tied to the vibrational frequency of your thoughts, beliefs, words and intentions.

Anything else may give you what you don’t want, rather than what you do want.
